Join Meet Market Adventures and other artistic singles at our Life Drawing event. We introduce the class by focusing on basic drawing tools and give a review of the body structure. In order to loosen your arms the class will start with drawing gestures of the nude model to establish the basic posture of every pose. Then we will develop the drawings by doing longer poses looking for appropriate proportions.

This class consists of several sessions. Each session is a sequence of timed gesture drawing followed by short poses (5 - 20 minutes per pose) and a longer pose at the end (30 - 45 minutes) with breaks in-between poses for eating, drinking and socializing.

You will learn how to analyze what you see, learn some measuring techniques and how to develop a drawing in 3-D fashion. The different techniques you will learn from this class can be applied to any future drawings.

So come on out to the life drawing event to bring out the creative side in you! After all, a live model is the best way to learn how to draw!

 

Note: we will be drawing pictures of a naked female model.

Note: we will meet at a café. Then, as a group, we will walk over to dance school nearby.
